HYDROPONIC LIVESTOCK FEED SOLUTIONS: SUSTAINABLY FEEDING THE FUTURE

We provide nutrient-dense feed to local livestock ranches in a more efficient and sustainable way. Our alternative to alfalfa hay is produced using vertical farming, which is less expensive than traditional dirt-farmed hay. We deliver the feed directly to local ranches, eliminating the need for transportation and reducing the risk of disease. Our proprietary vertical farming method uses 95% less water, fuel, and land than conventional hay production.

REASONS TO INVEST

Alfalfa hay is the predominant feed of most livestock. Alfalfa and the other varieties of grass hay require a greater percentage of land, water, and diesel fuel than all the crops for humans combined. Growing hay is in the top five uses for diesel fuel. Shockingly, over 60% of all mammal species on earth are domesticated livestock, with humans accounting for 36%. Demand for protein is rapidly exceeding our ability to produce it.

Sprouting Gear with a proprietary design offers a viable alternative to alfalfa hay by producing living barley grass (fodder) with a vertical farming method at an industrial scale for a lower cost than traditional dirt-farmed hay. Fodder is high in calories, protein, vitamins, and minerals, an eco-friendly feed that is preferred by livestock. Our proprietary vertical farming method uses more than 95% less water, fuel, and land than conventional hay production.

We can efficiently convert barley seeds into a thick mat of roots and grass that is 100% edible and nutritious for animals. California alone produces 7 million tons of alfalfa per year. By replacing alfalfa and grass hay with fodder, we can generate significant profits and reduce the environmental footprint of livestock farming.

We have secured letters of intent from two large dairies near our proposed site location, which indicate a strong market potential for our product. Research shows that cows fed with fodder produce less methane, which is a potent greenhouse gas.

In addition to the revenue from fodder sales, we also have a strategy to obtain additional income from carbon and water credits/offsets, as outlined by Thomas Brill from Greenberg Traurig Law firm. We are also eligible for other tax credits and grants, as our proposed site is in an economic opportunity zone.
